yea, and especially if you have a degree

There are lots of jobs you could do particularly if you stayed in one place for a time. Join an agency, they will find you work.

Well cash in hand work would be the best if you're only going to work for that short a time. Nobody will employ you for a full time job for a few months. Try construction, security work things like that. First thing you gotta do is find yourself a TNT magazine and look in the back for jobs and stuff, you can find them at some tube stations like Southfields or Earls court. The magazine helps us Saffas out a lot!

I was not aware that you could obtain nationality based on a grandparent under Dutch law as it is only on the basis of a parent and not a grandparent - so you may want to double check this (if you do not have a passport already). http://www.minbuza.nl/en/welcome/DutchCitizens,dutch_nationality/how_can_i_acquire_dutch_nationalityx.html Anyway, if you do have a Dutch passport, then yes you are able to travel and work in the UK without a visa. However, the recession has really hit the UK hard and employment is rising by the day. So again you may want to consider this before making a hasty decision. Good luck

Where are you going to buy the camcorder? If it's not in the UK they'll certainly need to get a new charger.

How to temporarily work and live in England

How to temporarily work and live in England?
My boyfriend might be going to Oxford or Cambridge. And I'll be done with my college by the time he goes. I really wish to go with him so we can still be close. How would I go about living temporarily and working in England? I am a US citizen and resident. Thank you for you're help.

Student dependents must be spouses, unmarried partners or children. You would probably not qualify as an unmarried partner. - You must be both over 21. - You must have lived together for at least two years as a couple and be able to provide evidence to this effect such as joint bank statements, rent agreements, utility bills etc. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/adult-students/family/# If you can meet these criteria, you can only work in the UK as a dependent if your b/f's course is for longer than a year and is degree level or above or is a foundation degree course. The only other options you have are to apply for a student visa in your own right or spend a few months at a time as a visitor. However, if you do this, you can only spend 180 days in any 12 month period as a visitor and you cannot work on a visitor visa. This means that you have to have sufficient funds to prove that you can support yourself for the whole of your stay and prove that you have sufficient ties to your own country so as not to be labelled a risk of overstaying.
