heyy, guys i really need help! would a studio microphone and a mixer work if i bought it from america to work in england? i will buying the microphone and mixer in america but, i will buy the wires to plug them in in england? do you think it would work here? or will it bake with the voltage? thxz

The microphone shouldn't be a problem but the mixer needs to be able to draw UK power instead of US power. For this you will need at least an adapter for the plug and you may need a power converter, depending on your mixer's requirements. It's hard to say without knowing what mixer you're talking about.

I agree with Dave. I believe they have 220-240 volts AC in the UK just like most other places, so if you have the same where you come from, you don't have to worry about a power converter. But if you already have a power supply for the mixer that plugs into 220-240 volts AC, be sure to bring that. Have a nice trip!
