im an american living in england, no the games wont work, plug convertors are way to expensive and if ut sis buys it here youd be paying double than you would in the states. i recommend you get it in the states

The DS works with no problems, same goes for Japanese DS or DS Lite (all your games will appear in the language of the game, not console so you're okay there too). Where you will find a problem is with the U.S. power adapter which will operate in 110v only, whereas the U.K. adapter works in 110v or 240v. However, you can get a USB charger for about £5 on eBay or buy a DS charger for a bit more from GAME shops. I have the USB charger, much more useful. It's still a lot cheaper than geting a U.K. DS Lite, even if you add buying a charger that will work in the U.K.!
