If I bought an iphone in America and got it unlocked to use an English sim card. Will it work in England? Thank YOU.

Most likely. Assuming it unlocked properly you shouldn't have any issues. Do Not try your American sim in England though. The only way to make this work is to enable global roaming and you will get charged heaps for incoming as well as outgoing calls! Its cheaper to buy a phone overseas rather than do this :)
