Will an American teaching degree work in England?
Hi. I'm 16 and live in Illinois. My dad is English and moved here when he was 19 and I want to move to Brighton. My dads side family lives there. I would probally move there around when I'm 22 And I was just wondering if I could move there or would I have to attended university there?

You would have to gain the credentials to work in England as a teacher, You would have a good head start with a US degree but would still need to put in some time.

Do you have British citizenship? If not, try to get that, it'll help you. If you want to live there, I suggest going to uni there. You could also try to do BUNAC which would let you work there for 6 motnhs.

Will a New York marriage license work in England?
My fiancee and I plan on getting married in New York. She's from England and I'm American. Will a New York marriage license be valid in England or will we have to apply again in the UK?

NO. You must obtain a license from the country/state/county in which you are getting married. In the US a New York license wouldn't work in Ohio. In Ohio you must obtain a license from the county in which you reside. Different states have different laws. As do different countries. HOWEVER, if you get married in the states then the marriage should be valid in England. License vs. Certificate. Permission vs. Defacto. Two different things, my friend.

Well, it always helps to have family in w.e country your going to go to. My sister is going to study abroad and there are different programs that help you obtain a visa in colleges try looking up one of those.

I don't think that you need a visa if you want to work for less than six months. You do need a work permit, however. See the UK government website. I do not know how the schemes work.
